The lab is uncovering fundamental principles of mutation origin with a paradigm-shifting discovery: certain mutations appear more frequently in genes and populations where they are needed. This finding challenges one of the foundational assumptions of modern evolutionary theory - the assumption of random mutation. This work opens the door to a new understanding of life’s adaptability. It has profound implications for biology, medicine, philosophy, and even computer science.

What you'll do:

· Support lab outreach: student recruitment, public speaking events, grant proposals, etc.
Ideal candidates:
· Senior undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, or professionals with excellent writing ability.
· A background in biology, molecular biology, evolutionary theory, or related fields.
· Native English proficiency.
